MESSAGE REVIEW
“Mind world”
In Romans 6 it states that we serve the Lord with our mind. If you are going to execute the Christian life it will not be with your spirit but with your mind. It is when the Spirit of God sends thoughts and directions, and our mind is renewed that we will lay our will down for God’s will. We must deal with our mind if we are going to live the abundant life that God has promised us. If we are going to serve God and be a peace maker or love our enemy, it is going to be with our mind. The carnal mind is not renewed and has not been washed by the word of God. When we refuse to renew our mind, we cannot be subject to our spirit. Let’s dig in deeper and see how we can deal with our mind.
LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!
•Everyone talks about next. Today is tomorrow unless you learn something different. You cannot live above your level of revelation and above the information you have. People try to learn above their relationship, but they learn nothing new, and they expect to live a different life. Lots of times we feel stuck but we are only stuck in our mind. Have you ever felt a battle in your mind? Have you ever felt stuck?
Scripture References
3 John 1:2
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
Proverbs 23:7
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
“Eat and drink!” he says to you,
But his heart is not with you.”
Matthew 22:34-37
34 But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
• Your mind has two basic functions. It remembers and it imagines. Your remembrance would be the size of a closet. The imagination would be the size of the universe. But most people live out of what they remember not what they imagine. Imagination causes pursuit. You can’t live out of the closet of your memory. Lose your imagination to see all the possibilities of God. Have you imagined something so much bigger than yourself recently? When was the last time you allowed yourself to imagine (dream) BIG!
PRAYER FOCUS & REQUESTS
Support one another in your prayer requests and share and celebrate praise reports. Challenge for this week: take time to DREAM BIG! Use your imagination and let God show you what HE wants for you!
