Message Review
When you live life “on assignment” it changes everything. 72% of Christians shared on a poll and said life was deeply unsatisfying. if you don’t live with a sense of purpose this is something that can happen. But when you understand assignment, it changes everything, and life becomes an adventure. Living life on assignment you have to embrace the part of you that is unique. It can be lonely, and most people do not want to experience that type of loneliness so they will blend to be accepted. God does not use someone in a great level that did not spend time alone. The fact that you are different makes you effective to where you are different. God wants you alone at times to develop you and then he will place you where He knows you’re prepared to effect it.
Let’s dig in more to this…….
Let’s Talk About It!
Read Jeremiah 1:4-5
The difference between where you were created and where you were made are two different things. We were made from dust and when we die our body returns to where it came from (a grave). When you die it is not death for the Christian, because our spirit goes back to where it came from (heaven). The word says “before I placed you in the womb, I KNEW YOU” We had a heavenly existence before we were placed into our mother’s womb. God said he already ordained us also. God gives a being a lifetime to do everything they were assigned to before they return where they came from. Do you understand the difference of being made and being created? Discuss further what it means that God “knew” you before you were place in your mother’s womb.
Read Romans 8:28-31
Many Christians speak this scripture out that “all things work together for our good” but that’s not the full scripture. Also, this scripture has conditions around it. All of the words are past tense which means it’s already done. God goes to your last, first because He predestines. He starts at your last chapter and that’s how He knows that all things will work together for your good. The second part of Romans 8:28 is “to those who are the called according to His purpose.” God will give you snapshots of your life and what you are called to do. As you grow in the Lord, in your word, in your relationship with the Holy Spirit your calling will be revealed. We can look back and see pockets in our upbringing when God showed us things along the way that were part of the landscape of our life. Share testimonies of things God may have shown you as a child/young person to reflect what you are called to do now.
Prayer Focus and Requests
