Jeremiah 1:4-6 NKJV says, 4 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified[a] you; I [b]ordained you a prophet to the nations.” 6 Then said I: “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth. There is something greater than success. It is significance. You can amass many things but live your life insignificant. You can accumulate things, but you not leave your print on anyone’s life. A life well spent is when people walk away from you and you have affected or altered their lives in an effective way. The greater success comes from the way you help people the most.
Who would like to share one significant thing you’ve done in your life that effected the
life of someone else?
You had some sort of heavenly existence before you were created. There is a difference between when you were created and when you were made. Ephesians 1:4 NKJV – just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. According to this verse, you have no needs, it’s just in another realm. Before God gave you a body, God had already experienced who you are. God had a predestined plan even before the foundation of the earth was even laid. Before you were born, you were chosen before the foundation of the earth.
What are some ways that you live out the predestined life God has for you?
We are God’s workmanship that God prepared beforehand. As such, we are called to walk in it. We think we pray to get God to move. What God has done Jesus has already done. We don’t pray to get God to do something, we pray to get God to go from one dimension to another dimension. Everything is already done so you just have to work it. We have to step into the new from the old.
How do you work your faith to help you live in the predestined plan God has for you?
