Hey guys, it’s Hope here! I wanted to share with you a little piece of our story that we recently discussed on a podcast. Ron and I were guests on a friend’s podcast, and the questions she asked us were unlike any we had answered before. The depth of those questions brought out information that we had never shared before.
As we listened to the interview, we realized that our story was powerful and needed to be shared on our own platform. So, we decided to make this podcast episode all about our interview and our journey. This is something we have never done before, and we hope it can provide some insight and help for those listening.
Many people have asked us why we continue to tell our story, especially since it happened over 20 years ago. The truth is, we do it to overcome. We believe in the power of sharing our testimony to help others who may be struggling in their marriages. It takes two people to make a marriage work, and we want to show that it is possible to overcome even the toughest of challenges.
Our journey has been filled with ups and downs, but one thing that has remained constant is our commitment to each other and our faith in God. We have faced challenges, secrets, and betrayals, but through it all, we have learned the importance of full disclosure and accountability in a marriage.
One of the biggest mistakes couples make is hiding secrets and not addressing past traumas. As we have learned through our own experiences, these secrets can be like carrying around plutonium – destructive and harmful. Full disclosure and open communication are key to building a strong and healthy relationship.
