Hey guys, it’s Ron here and I hope you enjoyed that transcript from our latest podcast. If you’re new here, welcome to Ron and Hope unfiltered – where we keep it real, raw, and relevant. Today, I wanted to dive a little deeper into the topic of identity and the necessity of an enemy in our lives.
Let’s start with Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” It’s easy to question why we go through trials and tribulations, but the truth is, God is always working behind the scenes. Even in our darkest moments, victory is being accomplished.
I love the analogy of baking a cake – you don’t just eat eggs, flour, sugar, and butter separately. You mix them together, apply heat, and something beautiful comes out. Similarly, our trials and hardships are like the ingredients in a cake. They may not make sense at the time, but God is using them to mold and shape us into who we are meant to be.
And remember, some enemies are not meant to be defeated, but outlasted. Just like David outlasted Goliath, we can stand firm in the face of our enemies and come out stronger on the other side.
So, if you’re going through a tough time right now, congratulations – your Goliath has arrived. This battle will lead to your promotion, your victory, and your growth. Embrace the struggle, trust in God’s plan, and know that you are being prepared for something greater.
If you want to dive deeper into these topics, I highly recommend checking out the book “The Necessity of an Enemy.” It’s a powerful resource that can help you understand why you’re going through what you’re going through and how to emerge victorious.
Thanks for tuning in today, and remember, no matter what you’re facing, God’s got you. Keep standing strong, keep the faith, and outlast your enemies. Until next time, stay blessed and keep the faith!
