Message Review

The sound before the move of God. Whenever God wants something, He did not speak to what He wanted but He spoke to what held it and tells it to let it go! The potential for the wine or the vegetables it was in the earth he knew it had the potential and he said let it go as if something was restraining it. Your parents did not make you; they created your body. You came from God, and you go back where you came from. Environment is the key to all potential. Do not fight your battle in your enemy’s environment. The environment in which we thrive is the presence of God. When we get together it’s not just to sing but to create an environment to have an encounter with God and in His presence. You take corn stalk in the ocean it dies. You take seaweed in a field, and it dies. Shooting stars are dying because they are leaving their environment. What environment are you living in? Are you getting the results in your life that you want? Let’s dig in more…

Let’s Talk About It!

Read 1 Kings 18:41-45 NKJV

Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” 42 So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, 43 and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.”

So, he went up and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.”

44 Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’ ”

45Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So, Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel.

First thing God created was sound. If God never said a word we would not be here. If we want to create in our lives, we can’t do it with our mouth closed. I can win friends or make enemies with the words I speak. Everything in life follows the sound it makes. You will never see make a depressing sound but be full of joy. Put sounds of kindness, love, multiplication in your mouth. Show that you know how to use the power of the tongue. Elijah spoke and said he heard the abundance of rain when there was a drought for over 3 years. What sound are we making? What words are we speaking into our lives and the lives of the people we love?

Prayer Focus and Requests

Ask your members if they have any prayer requests or praise reports. Pray for one another and for yourself to be intentional about spending +me in God’s presence. Be mindful what sounds are we making. Are we speaking life or death over our situations? Things can turn around when we change the sound coming from our mouth!
