Hey everyone, it’s Ron here with Ron & Hope Unfiltered and I am so excited to be back with you all. I know it’s been a while since our last podcast, but I am back and ready to share some thoughts with you all. I have to say, I’ve missed having Hope by my side during these podcasts. She always keeps me in check and brings a different perspective to the table.
One thing that Hope brought up during our conversation was my past addiction to Mountain Dew. Yes, you heard that right – I used to drink a six-pack of Mountain Dew every day! Can you believe that? It was a habit that I had for years, but thankfully I was able to kick it for good. It’s amazing how little habits can add up and affect our health over time.
During our conversation, we also delved into the topic of weird churches. It’s interesting how many people are turned off by the idea of a church being “weird.” But what we discussed was the fact that sometimes, being a little “weird” can actually lead to some incredible experiences with God. We talked about the importance of experiencing the presence of God and how that can truly change your life.
We also touched on the idea of authenticity in worship and how sometimes, we get caught up in the production and presentation of church services, rather than focusing on the heart of worship. Worship isn’t about being polished and perfect – it’s about being real and vulnerable before God.
One thing that really struck a chord with me was the idea of hosting God in our churches. It’s not about putting on a show or following a strict set of rules – it’s about creating an environment where God’s presence can truly be felt and experienced by all. That’s something that I am truly passionate about and something that I believe is missing in many churches today.
In conclusion, I just want to say thank you to all of you for tuning in and listening to our conversations. I love being able to share my thoughts and experiences with you all, and I hope that it resonates with some of you. Remember, it’s okay to be a little “weird” in your faith and to embrace the presence of God in all aspects of your life.
Until next time, stay authentic, stay passionate, and stay hopeful. Love you all!
