Hey guys, this is Ron and welcome to Ron and Hope Unfiltered, where we keep it real, raw, and relevant. Today, I’m not feeling my best. I’ve got allergies or sinus issues, but I’m pushing through. It’s been a tough week with a sore throat and a headache, but I’m hanging in there.
I recently did a series on loving difficult people, and it got me thinking about the challenges we face in relationships. The recent episodes of my show have brought up some tough questions from viewers, like how to handle family members who have different beliefs or values. It’s not easy, but Jesus taught us to love our enemies and those who persecute us.
One of the most challenging things for me is when someone questions my integrity or character. It’s a gut punch for me because I value my reputation and intentions. But Jesus calls us to love even those who discredit us or resent our success. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but it’s a test of the love of God in our hearts.
I’ve learned that not every battle is worth fighting. Some people will drain your energy and focus with constant contention. But when it comes to protecting your future and destiny, you have to stand up and fight. And when it comes to enemies who resent your success, it’s a sign of the love of God in your heart to be able to love them despite their negativity.
So, as we strive to love difficult people and enemies, let’s remember that our actions speak louder than words. It’s easy to love those who love us, but the true test of our faith is how we treat those who challenge us. Let’s pray for the grace to love unconditionally and show the world the transformative power of God’s love in our lives.
Don’t forget to check out the upcoming 212 Conference with speakers like Robert Madu and Christine Kane. It’s going to be a powerful event, and I hope to see you there. Until next time, stay blessed and keep loving even the most difficult people in your life. God bless.
